Aremu earned his Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Finance from the prestigious University of Lagos (Unilag) and went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management (HRM) from Kwara State University (Kwasu). Motivated by an unrelenting pursuit of knowledge, he has achieved a myriad of certifications in Information Technology, including CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), PMP (Project Management Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control), and CompTIA Security+.
Exemplifying his commitment to lifelong learning, Aremu completed the Managing Risk in the Information Age course at HarvardX, a division of Harvard University’s online education platform. Possessing a diverse skill set and profound understanding of cybersecurity, he has earned a respected reputation as an expert in IT Third-Party Risk Management, Security Control Assessments, and IT Audits, with particular emphasis on the financial and healthcare sectors.
Aremu has gained admission to the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) in the United States, intending to conclude his studies by the end of 2026.
